AboutI am a Brookline High School alumni and current freshman at Harvard University. I started tutoring my sophomore year of high school as a freelance part time job. A few months in, I was working with over 10 students for approximately 14 hours per week. As my time commitment to sports, school, and extracurriculars grew, I searched for ways to continue helping all of these students and more. I also wanted to share the passion I'd found for mentorship with other high schoolers. The summer after my sophomore year, I ended up forming BYTE as a mechanism to help more students than I could on my own and share the joy of teaching with my peers.
One of the most pressing issues in our community is mental health, which is why I chose for all our proceeds go to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. Success in education can go hand in hand with mental health, particularly in Brookline's academically intense environment. My primary goal through both tutoring and donating to the BBRF is simple: to improve the happiness of Brookline youth. Aside from tutoring, I love to play tennis, bike, write, socialize, and most definitely learn. I am studying social studies and psychology, with a wide range of interests. |
All of this has only been possible thanks to my incredible parents and family, and all of their support.
